BTW, this was recorded with a droid X which has some sort of automatic level control that just does not distort unless you put it right in a horn throat or port.

Another rental, another 200+ satisfied people :-)
I rented out my system to a party from University of Hartford. 200-300 people there this time. The room was an echo chamber, but it actually didn't sound too bad for music once I got used to it. Otops and 2x3015lf sub
Did a double date rental this past weekend of my composite otop12's and a 2x3015lf. One was a pool party and the one at night was indoors. In short, it sounded great, was LOUD, and everyone had a great time. The DJ's were sick - one of them used a swirly, spacey effect sometimes that was about 10 dB ...

What about a T18 or T24? The omni 12 is pretty big.Bill Fitzmaurice wrote:O12, using the 2x10 option.

Re: What brought you here?
I'm an Argentine Tango DJ, very unhappy with the current state of tango festival sound (The best they seem to be able to do is sacrifice bass for midrange clarity; at worst it's a muddy mess). I wanted something portable, but then I decided I really needed 4 DR200s for ultimate sound quality, so na...

Re: What brought you here?
Pro Sound sound quality on the cheap. I was referred by a bass player that had a frankenstack of speakers 7 foot tall. He was exclaiming his eagerness to build a tallboy. He must have spent an hour talking up bills designs. That was 3 years ago and I have a full BFD system and he has no tallboy. HA...
