Re: Table Tuba build!!
Chris where did you get the TT's table top? Did you glue a bunch of boards together?

Re: Table Tuba build!!
I have bass issues in my set up with the TT also. Just cant decide if its right or not. I also posted on you thread over at the AVS forum. Something I would like to add here is the fact that perhaps you need to go with a multi sub approach to help out with possible/probable room modes. I know I am w...
Re: Tritrix
Very sad indeed as I was planning on building a set of these. I know I read on another forum that PE was putting some wrong parts in the Xover kits for a while that was supposedly ruining response. Perhaps you got some wrong parts. Maybe you should check against what you should have and what you got...

Slight hum from speaker
I believe I am getting a slight ground loop hum from my Foster amp. I have it plugged into the same outlet my receiver is plugged into. The hum is there whether or not the RCA connection is made to the receivers LFE output. Turning up the volume on the amp doesnt increase the hum either. Is there an...

Foster amp from Jhidley
I use one of these to power my TT with an MCM 8". If I chose to make another TT would/could I use this amp to power both or do I need to do something different? Suggestions?

Officially freaked out!
OK from the start I have loved my TT. I "THOUGHT" I had it in a sweet spot in the room. I wasn't overly happy of the nearfield placement but I really liked the feel. Well today I decided to move the sub to the front of the listening position and finally got a chance to hear it. I haven't r...

Re: Burning in Sub
I have my new amp connected to the sub running the test tone in a spare room. The noise isnt an issue. The prob I have is I dont know how to use a voltmeter and how to set it to read the volts I need as you are describing. I "you tubed" it. I am running it at 8 volts right now. Thank you. ...

Re: Burning in Sub
What do I set my volt meter to to see how many volts I am running through the speaker? I am just running a 30-39hz test tone through it with it set at a relatively low volume on my new amp. The cone is moving in and out a fair distance but nothing to far IMO. Is it really important to run 10 volts t...
