I make my fillers out of wood now and PL them in place. No more fillers coming loose during a gig!

Re: Two channel speaker cables
It's actually pounds that I'm trying to save. Copper is heavy! The issue you'd still run into would be amp related. Using two amps and linking the grounds could cause ground looping, and even with one amp the two channels might not share a common ground on the outputs. Thanks, Bill. I figured the on...

Two channel speaker cables
When I built my T39s, I jumpered the Speakon jacks to pass through the +2/-2 inputs so I could feed both subs and tops from a 2 channel cable. Now I have a situation where I want to take advantage of that. When I make up the 2 channel cable that runs from the amp to the subs, does each channel need ...

Re: Introducing EQ Chart
Chris,
Is there an option to remove the original SPL curve (the red line) and the heavy black line for the target SPL? They are very distracting when using a chart to set the sliders on a graphic EQ. I tried the sliders, nochart, and alpha options, but they don't seem to do anything.

Been there, done that, posted it in the Reviews area a while back. This is a very subjective area, but I preferred the tone of the J15 to the J12. YMMV.AntonZ wrote:Anyone who has had a J12 and J15 side to side please do chime in.

Re: 208vac single phase?
Another consideration is whether the oven is designed to be field convertable to single phase. The schematic shows the alternate wiring of K1 for single phase, but that may be for use in manufacturing a different model that ships from the factory that way. The wires from the relay to the heater elem...

Re: 208vac single phase?
First the big caveat. I'm not an electrical engineer and this is not a prefessional opinion. High voltage kills and I advise you to get a qualified person to rewire your device. If you wire things wrong, burn down your house, and cause a blackout in the greater tri-state area, don't say I didn't war...

Re: 208vac single phase?
What kind of equipment is it? It's been about 30 years since my days of working with 3-phase power, but IIRC transformers and rotating motors are designed for a certain phase relationship between the hot legs. The 3 legs of a 3-phase feed are 120 degress out of phase. 2 phase is 180 degrees. Normall...

It looks like your 15uF cap is poly, not electrolytic.

Use transport cases. Either buy plastic totes or make wooden road cases.

Re: Spraying Duratex with HVLP gun - what nozzle size/PSI?
I'm with Leland. I prefer the spray method and I use the same HF gun. What Leland says bears repeating -- use the lightest touch possible. Here's a few more tips. * Only put about 1 quart in the hopper at a time so it is easier to handle. * Cover the hopper with cling wrap so the product does not sp...

You don't have to actually post the chart to see it. Just Preview your post, save the image to disk, then Cancel the post.

Re: T39 - finally hatched - weighing in at 42lbs ( 18.5kg )
I use Leland's corner wheels. Since they are also the back feet of the cab they always have weight on them and don't rattle.
