Re: Headphone jack signal level:

It has a set of RCA outputs (inputs too) as well as optical and 1/8 stereo headphone out with a physical volume control. If you're asking about use as an audio device accessory for a mobile phone I have no experience in that area.

Re: Headphone jack signal level:

I used to keep a UCA202 in my bag when attending warehouse/free parties, as inevitably someone would want to plug their laptop headphone out direct to mixer then crank the channel gain... which generally sounds ordinary. Universal usb driver means no install, just plug and play. Stronger output tha...

Tuba 30 pair v-plated in an open field

Been using the Titan 39 mostly with the band this summer but I was asked to play recorded music at an outdoor party so out came the Tuba 30's.

I know they don't look as nice as those of many folks here but they do exactly as expected and never disappoint.

Re: Single Titan 39 used outdoors with band

Looks like you guys have it pretty rough being forced to play outside like that. I guess all you can do is grin and bear it. Yeah, we're troopers so we tough it out. Of course, outdoor gigs aren't so great if the sky opens up dumps on you. Plus we only get about 6 weeks of summer in Maine so...

Single Titan 39 used outdoors with band

We all know it's best to use BFM cabs in multiples to obtain maximum performance. Still, I can vouch for the performance of a single T-39. For a little back story, I started playing with these guys when their drummer left the band. My friend Donnie joined on guitar ironically when the guitar player ...

Phase issues from a defective piezo or incorrect wiring certainly would wreak havoc on response and delivery angle consistency.

Re: NYE party, 2 OT12's and 4 T30's

Shorts and an outdoor lawn party on NYE. Love it! As I noticed before, they still have a very narrow "sweet spot" when standing dead in line with them. I'm not as impressed with the off-axis dispersion as everyone else here seems to be. Take one step to the side from that central sweet spo...

Re: "Hard limiter" that lowers output as input rises?

I get that a "hard limiter" can be setup to provide a maximum output for any input above a certain level. I have that now. But, it's not working. DJs who get on my system continue to push the DJ mixer into the red and produce an overcompressed mess...and I get the blame. I am looking for ...

Re: The amps come marching in

So lets talk amps. Home audio only please. Is there advantages to better amps with highly sensitive speakers? I mean if 10 volts is screaming loud, leaving a lot of headroom. Why go with bad boy amps. Just wanting a general discussion. Personal experiences are a plus. The better amp is the one that...

Re: New WH8

Funny that I saved so long to complete my rack with the DEQ, but often I actually leave it off. I notice that the DEQ panel gets hot after a long night, and the heat ain't coming from the Crown. If you're just running analog, it might be interesting to know that the signal will continue through it w...

At one frequency? Was there frequency overlap between cabinets? If so how is that possible?
Sorry, just curious as to what was meant by this statement.

Re: 4 Tuba 30 @ 24" Delta LFA Build Up

I'd expect the T30s to sound honky and wonky in the low/mids (ie 200hz). The Jack 15s will crossover fairly low too, so definitely be prepared for fiddling around with that a bit. Good point. Given the Jack 15s low extension, I'd cross over even lower than 100 Hz. Try 80. Check... Would I want the ...
