Re: Additional limiter
NOTE: you must turn off the FB control on the DRPX before setting the limiter attached after the DRPX.

Re: Additional limiter
Yes I had the same question a while back. I used a DRPX and just put a behringer stereo compressor limiter with peak limiting after the sub outs and shut off the limiting in the DR. worked fine but if you want to do tops and subs, you will need two Behringer comp/limiters. any compresser limiter sho...

Re: Is a delay nessesary?
here's a question on this subject. I run my PA for a band. I'm using T48's which have 9 feet of horn. plus if I wall load them against the back wall which is also the back wall for the stage. it will put my subs about 12 feet behind the tops. Do I need to delay the top for 21 feet and if so will thi...

Re: Driverack PX Limiter
Hey guys didn't mean to get you going. This is my first time running Horn subs. I never run my rig to that extreme, I alway bring more then I need so my gear runs cooler and safer. if I ever need the headroom I have plenty to spare. I just want some protection if something bad ever happens and it tr...

Re: Driverack PX Limiter
I'm assuming the limiter in the MDX2600 Behringer is basicly the same as the one in the DCX2496. everyone seems to like that one. unless I'm wrong.

Re: Driverack PX Limiter
I am using 3015LF drivers in 2-T48's with a PLX 3602 and I want to limit it to 50 v. as in the plans to protect my investment (Drivers). Live band with no sound man. been doing it for years and haven't smoked anything yet. and don't want too. LOL this is the first time I've run Horn subs and I don't...

Re: Driverack PX Limiter
Thanx David. I did a little digging and found the DriveRack PX does not have a brick wall type limiter. But I do have a MDX2600 Behringer compressor/limiter with a Peak limiter laying around. I'm thinking I could put it after the sub outs on the driverack. Because I don't have the money right now to...

Driverack PX Limiter
I was using all active speakers at one time and now I'm slowly changing that. I built some T48's and down the road I'm going to be building some BF top boxes. I have a Driverack PX. it's designed for active speaker and I called DBX and they told me it's fine to use it with passive systems too. I'm u...

setting limiter with my 1505-DT speaker
I have a question if anyone can help. I built my first 30" T48. turned out really nice. I ordered a 3015LF but I wanted to check out the sub so I loaded a peavey BW 1505-DT 4 ohm that I had laying around. 1505 DT Power capacity: 1400 W Peak, 700 W Program, 350 W Continuous Sensitivity: 97.9 dB ...
