Re: Speaker with a "linear wavefront in the horizontal plane

A Graham Holliman Loudspeaker Brochure can be seen in this ad: http://imageshack.com/i/go6lwcj He also has a patent for a bass unit and the patent below describes the "improved" mid and high unit. Check out the specs on the brochure.... 4hz to 40khz +- 2 1/2db on the pro unit and 8hz to 22...

Speaker with a "linear wavefront in the horizontal plane" ?

I was reading a loudspeaker patent and it mentioned a "linear wavefront in the horizontal plane". What kind of driver layout would that be ?

Thanks !

Re: THT Build... Holy S&*t!

It sounds good and is nice and deep but does not seem responsive enough for certain styles of music. However I also have full...

Re: David Stereo Floorstanders... "I Broke The Plans"

I did some TrueRTA testing today of my "David Stereo Floorstanders". They are corner loaded in a 20x28x8 room and have Tang Band woofers. (I used TrueRTA, Behringer ECM8000, and M-Audio MOBILEPRE USB) The RTA below is from my listening position, about 15 feet from The Davids, the album is ...

Re: 2 X AutoTubas @ a House Party

I meant I have never heard the bass that "thick" listening to other subs before. I find the AutoTuba to be very amazing and very under-rated. A pair of them with Tang Band drivers, corner-loaded, sound just as good to me as the Tuba Home Theater, actually better, because the pair smooth o...

Re: David - Just For Fun

Connected my iPod to the Kenwood M2 and fired up the tunes. I find that many MP3s, especially played off an iPod, have a lot of loss in the bass.... Usually much better from an original CD. CH might be the something going on with the player or the encoding since the highs are the ones that suffer. ...
