Re: Who knows how to set up a behringer dcx2496?
Okay, got it. The default settings have all the channels muted. Thanks ya'll. Now what a good hi pass/low pass for Titan-48's & Otop15's, electronic music.

Who knows how to set up a behringer dcx2496?
Finally got one, but when I hooked it up there was no sound. I can see levels on the meter and the amp lights go on but there is no sound. So I was wondering if there is a mute or something I have not done correctly. Currently I have it set at: LH-LH-LH A+B Analog Out And I am using two amplifiers, ...

Re: Need some advice on stepping up my sound system.
I have ran 4 - JBL SRX 725's with this amp and it ran it 8 hours straight at high volume, crossed at 80hz. That is just from my experience. I don't think I will be pushing it that hard anymore, those Otop15's are pretty damm loud enough. Havn't checked the other post, but can the straight array of p...

Re: Need some advice on stepping up my sound system.
I was thinking build 2 more Otop15's and Titan's. Then upgrade to a behringer dcx2496 & Crown XTI 4000. Eventually I will end up with 8 - Otop15's and 8 ' Titan 48's 30". And I can move my 31-band eq to the side room. If only someone would take these JBL TR-225's from me I would build some ...

Need some advice on stepping up my sound system.
Here is my situation, I am currently throwing more events now since the last 3 events have been hits. So now I got some extra $$$ to upgrade my system. So I was wondering what should I get first? But first, let me tell you my usual set up. I run two rooms with strictly djs who play all types of musi...

Re: What sounds equate to 30hz or below?
So do you think it would be irrational to put a 48db slope low pass at 25hz and high pass it at 80hz?

Re: Car audio system
First of all, go 4volts, its a big difference in sound level and clearness, less static. Personally, I've used all different dsp and processors, but nothing was as good as AudioControl Stuff. If you want audiophile quality, you have to spend money on your mids and highs. Get a quality one and you wi...

Re: What sounds equate to 30hz or below?
Sounds like a lot of good information, thanks to everyone who responded. Before I got into this website, I use to run an all JBL SRX system with the double 18's and double 12's setup. Before that, I did that car sound competition for sound quality, not SPL. I never had the need for an RTA, just did ...

What sounds equate to 30hz or below?
Besides explosions in movies and deep bass, can you really hear anything below 30hz? I ask this question because I've been curious about the T-60 and THT used for DrumNBass and Dubstep. Really bass heavy music. I've used the T-48's and they worked awesome, I wonder if I traded and used the latter? H...

Re: DR-250's and Titan 48"s.
I would sell those JBL's if they were mine, unfortunately I borrowed them from my cousin because I needed sound for a smaller room.
I still cannot believe how much bass those Titan's produce, they are insane!!!

Re: DR-250's and Titan 48"s.
Well, the titan's are braced every 10 inches internally so maybe it's just the mouth braces I need to add. As for the setup issue, the titan's were hitting so hard, I didn't even have them at full volume plus the students loved to see these subs with a huge open mouth. I guess it looks cooler to the...

DR-250's and Titan 48"s.
Threw a school event with 400 students. They loved the sound, it was loud and clear. Bass was hitting so hard, the Titan began to start moving from it's spot. Really good reviews from teachers and students. Bill made me look like a sound genus. Thanks...
