Re: Drivers and Other Bits For Sale - Also Cabs For Local Pickup in Atlanta (Updated Prices)

Have two of the OT12. Would take $150 for both of them. They've got the built-in crossover, the piezo array, and top hats for pole mount. Connection is speakon.

Re: Concerns running the rack of generator

I've run a Peavey IPR1600 with two T39s and two OT12s with no issues off a Honda EU2000 and a couple similar, small generators with inverters.

This setup has been used in about a half dozen parade floats over the last couple years.

Re: I'm baaaaack

Hey thanks fellas :)

That's friggin hilarious. Yes, it can be a pretty tight when trying to get those bottom screws into the driver

Thanks for the tips. I'm not a fan of the giant door, either... so I'll probably stick with the tried and true. I'll definitely ping Bill for the new OT12.

I'm baaaaack

HAY ERRBUDDY! I missed all my speaker nerd friends! I've been trolling the forum a bit the last couple days and it seems I've missed quite a few updates! I *never* got to finishing up the T30s, nor the last two OT12s... but I still have all the parts (minus the wood that was donated to another...

Re: Parade Float - Power

So an update: The gig went off fantastic. I powered my Macbook Pro and a Crown XTi 2000 off this generator: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Briggs-Stratton-PowerSmart-Series-2-000-Watt-Gasoline-Powered-Portable-Inverter-030473/202405837?N=bx9nZa8#.UmlDhpSAeIc Which was tiny! It was as deep as the Titan 3...

Re: Parade Float - Power

I'd love new toys, but considering I'm doing this for free... investment will be $0 from my company ;) I don't do these kinds of things often - 3rd year in a row I've done this for my sister, but nothing I'd plan on doing consistently enough to warrant new gear.

Re: Parade Float - Power

I've run my XTi 2000 on a Honda EU series generator a few times in the past - always supplied by the event planner or client - and never had any issues with a single T39 and OT12s. Planning on bringing single T39 and single OT12 for this one. It's Zydeco/Second Line themed, but we pre-game with Top ...

Re: so about these new 10lb amps...

All this chat about the new amps made me so curious I had to go and get one. Found an ipr1600dsp on ebay that I offered $275 for. 1235293_10201949107907752_781294289_n.jpg Dropped the XTi2000 as my backup, and the XTi1000 is now up for sale :) The DSP is certainly more limited, but it will do everyt...

Re: Parade Float - Power

Small update! Sister went to Home Depot to chat with them about a potential discount - turns out they've been renting out the trailer for the float for free since it's for the local school. They're going to throw in the generator, as well! Honda EU 2000i should be plenty, I've run a gig at a park on...

Re: Parade Float - Power

Home Depot rents Honda EU2000i for $77 for the day. I think I'll make her pony up the cash for the rental. Some of the lazy moms are just going to have to walk instead of riding in the pickup bed.
