200's, yeah? I bet that was plenty to rile the neighbors up if ya wanted to.
Great job Tom. Easy peezy. iNuke 1000 with DSP? I still have mine. It really hasn't been a bad amplifier at all.

Re: 36" THTLP driver options
If we were to describe the performance of the Tubas/Titans technically correct, how would we do that? I've not been able to find the words to do them justice for someone who hadn't experienced them. It's really a difficult thing to do without resorting to some of the common industry phraseology lik...

Also, they'll show in your outbox until they're opened. Once they're opened by the recipient, they won't show in the outbox anymore.

What are the odds... last active (signed in) exactly one year ago, to the day. I'm a little optimistic too, he very well could be keeping up without signing in. Not going to hold my breath, though. You could try sending him a PM. Depending on his contact preferences, he may get an email notification...

Re: THTLP 24" wide
I have had 4xJBL 2242 in big ported boxes, 4x15", 2x21", 2x tapped horns with 18" drivers but nothing comes close to my THTLP 's. They pressurize the room like nothing else and equally much over their entire range. They dig deep but are still fast, punchy and articulate. Very deep no...

Re: Jack 10 Lite
Woodworking and metalworking can be as simple as working with clay... patch or redo will work and look the same once it's all filled, sanded, and painted. If I think it's gonna bug me, just knowing it's not "perfect", I'd cut it out and redo. If I'm not being anal about it, I'd patch it up...

Re: Endfire v-plates
Something that I didn't fully give it's due consideration for a long time is the importance of having the performers sonic expectations met and/or pre-show communication about what they can expect and why, if they are going to have less than stellar sound on stage. I'm not a musician, singer, or DJ....

I had wondered how well that arrangement would work. Nice to see someone actually did it. I'm not surprised it was you. Well done Wyland

Re: What's to chat about?
So, this particular fuel/water separator (Racor) has an integrated filter. Sight glass and water drain on the bottom, filter replaces from the top. I currently have three deep cycle and one starting lead acid batteries onboard. I'll be investing in a quality LiFePO4 battery bank. There are currently...

Re: What's to chat about?
Hahaha... yeah, about those glow plugs. It's back on a momentary button now, but for a time they were activated by connecting two wires with spade connectors. One morning I woke up to dead batteries. Hmm. Wonder what happened... instant palm to forehead as it struck me in the same moment. I forgot t...

Re: What's to chat about?
Keep the suggestions coming. I can't think of everything and I want to be as reasonably prepared as I can be, before I set out. Of those you mentioned, I currently have 6 spare fuel filters, one spare engine coolant pump (water pump), and a spare packing gland. On my shopping list, I have listed a s...

Re: What's to chat about?
Seth, As a very long in the tooth retired engineer, (and I think you're probably there already regards this recommendation), when a "transport device" comes with spares the reason is usually due to frequent prior failures. I'd strongly suggest you replenish the parts you have used from th...

Re: What's to chat about?
You're absolutely right! I did put a new starter on. And good call on the alternator situation too. If you look closely, there are two large frame, 200 amp alternators on the engine. The boat also came with a spare. The amount of spare parts this boat came with is impressive. The first engine pull t...
