Re: Church Speaker build
Tom, I am using the bulk tweeters from the PE buyout from a couple of years ago in the SLAs.I have built a couple of tlahs and curved sla center with them before. Only work from the rear and look cool too with the chamfer.

Re: Church Speaker build
Speaker build continues. TLAH Pro baffles ready for paint, tweeters cut and ready for glue, and 4 sets of SLA baffles cut drilled and chamfered ready for paint and drivers. Sure wish my shop was bigger!!! With all of this in it I have to go outside to turn around. I still have 2 T39s and 2 wedgehorn...

Re: Church Speaker build
'nuf said, not gonna route the recesses. As the Three Stooges said," we don't need to practice, we're professionals". Besides, there are plenty of other things I can screw up in the course of the normal build, why ask for trouble, the baffles are good so far.

Church Speaker build
Finally got the go ahead from the church and started with the mains. A pair of TLAHs using the specified speakers with the alternate melded tweeter array. Got all the components ordered from Leland and started making sawdust. The pics should be self explanitory but feel free to post any questions. B...

Re: Church Organ speakers need to replace!!!
Sooner or later, I'll piece all of the suggestions together. So far, I have settled on the TLAH PROs for the mains, I am going to use 2 sets of SLAs for the choir loft and an overflow area (with delay). I am building two wedgewood 6s for the organ and piano monitors. It has been suggested that I bui...

Church Organ speakers need to replace!!!
Hello and HELP, I am currently working on a set of TLAH PROs for my church as well as plans for 2 t39 subs and 2 sets of SLAs for the choir and overflow seating and the Pastor asked what could be done for our Organ sound. I told him I would pose the question to the forum and hope for a solution. the...

Pixelmaster,
Did you use the original top and bottom dimensions and just adjust the length?

Re: Pictures of TLAH Build - Making some progress...
Pixelmaster, absolutely beautiful Question for you, my tlah plans don't give dimensions for the 3x5's, what dimensions did you use for the 9 driver cabs? If 9 3x5's measure 45" they are too big for standard tlah and too small for the pros. I have my 3x5's and my box of 200 onkyo's ready to go, ...

Re: Newbie avid woodworker neophile at audio equip
Bill, thanks for the quick reply. I may have jumped the gun and purchased the wrong plans. If I build 4 dr200's or 250's how many t39's should I build? Our venues typically would not have more than 400 -500 people. Larger venues scheduled ( Shnae and Shane) are providing their own equip. How much po...

Newbie avid woodworker neophile at audio equip
Hi, I sure hope that I don't ask too many stupid questions. I work for a community center in TX and we are trying to set up a sound system for our large hall (120 w x 100 d x 24 h). Generally, we only set up a 60 x 60 space for seating in the front center of the space, but for weddings and dances we...
