Re: T48 constant amazement.

This morning I took 4 OT12's and 2 T48's to a larger church near me and ran sound for a special event they had. Their multipurpose room, aka, the "Celebration Center" was setup for about 800. I'd guess about 90Dx180Wx40H plus a 60'x25ft deep 3.5' tall stage. This makes me happy. Mine will...

I ended up with a DCX2496 after returning the Carvin. I like it better overall. You can buy two for the price of the Carvin.

Re: Carvin XD88

I tried one a few months ago. There were some glitches in the software which were annoying. This was v1.0. They may have solved the issues by now.

Waveguides...they look like horns.

The guys at diyaudio are :horse: multiple times over. I'm having trouble seeing what the big deal is. They don't look particulary complicated. Do they not have tradeoffs just like any other design? Is it a trend or a true improvement in audio reproduction?

I tried both bi-amp(125 Hz) and with a passive crossover(150Hz).

Is there a big difference in sound quality between passive and active?

It would be interesting to hear the results with an un-castrated O10.
