Re: Peavey Driver

Hi - thanks for everyones input.
I've had a good think and rather than use the 15, I'll buy a 10 or maybe a 12. That will just be easier to store and carry and will have plenty of output for what we need.
Cheers!

Re: Peavey Driver

Sounds like its not worth it then.
I take your point about the lite thing - but I enjoy the woodworking and then at least I know it's as light as I could have made it. (i.e. it's not my fault it weighs so much  )
As always - thanks for your input.

Peavey Driver

Hi All, I've been given a 15" Peavey Black Widow driver and I am considering putting it into a Jack 15 Lite. It ticks all the boxes for TS parameters - except the important one. Xmax is only 2.8mm - which I was quite surprised by. I would expect it to have been much higher. Can anybody give me ...

Used with my bass running a Warwick profet 3.2 I can report the following: The Jack has better mid / high end response that my old 4x10. :D The Jack has better low end respo...

Re: DIY air core inductors

Bill, Thanks for that - I missed audio-components.co.uk on my first trawl of the forum - they are reasonably priced, and local. For the record. I asked them a tech question about one of their products, and they came back with a detailed and accurate answer within the hour. Stan, Thanks too - all val...

DIY air core inductors

OK, its wiring time so I've checked the price & availability of air core inductors in the UK and I am unpleasantly surprised. speakerhardware.com seems to be the only place thats offering appropriate inductors at a reasonable price. The states are too far away, so I've decided to wind my own. Ha...
