Re: Wedgehorn 10 Review

One thing to consider, (not sure of your pa set up) are you aux feeding your subs? When I first started running my titans I was having major problems in some rooms. I had the low cut filters engaged on the mic channels and experimented with the eq extensivly. Nothing would work. After I aux fed the ...

Re: Now I get it. Titan 48 content.

I got to play in a venue that let me juice the titans a bit. They are absolutely insane. down the line i'm definately going to build some ot12's. ideally i wan't 4 of each.

Re: Now I get it. Titan 48 content.

Thanks Bill, I thought it was something like that. My band is a three piece, but we all sing, so the stage mix can get quite congested. Prior to last saturday i would never have guessed that subs would help the stage mix to the degree that it did. Wow. Anyway i have a newer amp that should arrive to...

Now I get it. Titan 48 content.

I just played a gig this past saturday with my new Titan 48's. (24", 3015lf's). I wasn't suprised about their output, which was really great. 2 Titans filled the club with power to spare. I was only driving them with an older amp that is rated at something like 150 watts a side, like i said pow...

Re: Omni 15TB Woofer only with a Jensen C15K

good luck with the d250-x, i use one in some home-brew bass cabs. they actually go quite low for a horn (especially at this price point). i have found they still have good clack without over bearing super highs.

well on a positive note, the new coating seems to be stable. it really is rock hard, and i'm lovin' the way it looks. seriously it's hard enough to skin your knuckles on with the extra rough texture. on a negative note, the poor man's duratex coating gave iffy results. not really that great. i have ...

on my titan the duratex has been setting for a couple of weeks so it is fully cured. it's tough stuff, but the new formula is just harder, and tightbond (blue label) is about $15 a gallon. i do believe that i could now get most any texture i wanted with just straight duratex. that just comes with ge...

Duratex experiment.

i have recently completed a build on a titan 39 and, it was my first experience with duratex. the results i got were acceptable, but not perfect. (i first coated with a roller, and second coated with a spray hopper) the texture that i wanted wasn't there. this was due in part to my lack of experienc...

titan handles tip

hey guys, do the stock cut in handles on the titans bother anyone? i put a piece of quarter round moulding inside mine and that made them feel much nicer. spaced the handles off the edge so the quarteround edge just met the edge of the handle cut out. very easy inexpensive mod and with the quarter r...
