Bit over the top.

Also, you could have kept that whole post shorter by simply saying "Shut up you w@nker, you haven't even built one."

Re: Piano finish

I don't know about patience, but the right tools and materials would help a lot. I'm guessing it would have some sort of high fill primer, maybe primed and sanded a couple of times, then a basecoat of darker and harder stuff, more sanding, maybe repeat, and topcoat, sand and cut and polish. All but ...

Re: How the He11 do U deal with sound "experts" in the booth

I'm not trying to offend anyone, and I realize my post was not contributing to the question in the original post. I think if this happened in a bar I would not have posted at all. Although yelling down some nobody in a bar who's passed comment about the band or whatever doesn't seem very productive....

Re: How the He11 do U deal with sound "experts" in the booth

So "Some a$$hole" has criticised your work, and you didn't like the way he did it. So then you " blitzed him with "room cancellation modes", "boundary reflections", "phase coherence", "bandwidth equalization" and any other term I could work into...

Re: that old awesome flat-pack DR200 thread

Hi. Can I ask a few questions re the laser cutting project? In general, what is the thickness of the laser cut? If you have an insert (a tab?) that will go into a slot, is the slot drawn 1/2 a mm larger that the tab? Or if you provided the drawings with the tab and slot the same dimensions, would th...

Re: Meet the new family

Nice set up. I hope to build the same.

Can someone please explain this to me?

"I meant that 2x DR200's don't match 2x T39's when:

a) Using BP102's
b) You EQ the subs flat by dropping 60-100 by 4-6 dB."

Thanks.

If you happen to be a diver, an old reg can be converted to run air tools, I know a guy who build his whole deck on one bottle fill and had buckets to spare on his nail gun.

I have worked in a boat builders, we used to put on 3 or so gloves on top of each other, when one gets to dirty or rips you peel it off and have a nice clean one underneath, saves time when the resins are going off.

DR250: An amateurs opinion.

First, a brief background: I'm a bass player in a pub rock band playing covers in small to medium venues, I have a Samack 4 string and a Fender M-80 combo 1 x 15" rated at 180W into 4, 100 into 8 ohm loads, I run the bass through the PA for gigs. Through running a open mike night at a local bar...
