Re: Tuba 60 Downunder

So does Budget group have PL again?

Every time I have called they did not have it and did not know when they were ordering more. I need to try that stuff. I have used other alternatives just fine but want to try the PL.

Re: Loctite PL Premium in Australia

Well no surprise I have not gotten any PL adhesive from the above linked company. I have called them for months and they have never gotten anymore in. They never return phone calls and never seem to have any. So with this being said can I just order PL from Leland and have him ship it to me? I have ...

I was just talking about vertical dispersion so thanks for clearing my question up.

Re: David - Just For Fun

Good to hear!!!

That is what I was wanting to hear all along.

Davids for the front SLAS for the rears.

Does the treble fall off when your out of the direct area like the SLAs?

I doubt it would, being that it isn't a SLA but I would rather ask.

Re: David - Just For Fun

Are the Davids designed to be a Left and Right?

Meaning the exit horn?

Or do they both go to the left. Left as in the pic you provided.

Re: David - Just For Fun

Has anyone ever just made a SLA top a tuba? I will probably be making myself some Davids but was hoping to have everything I could out of the SLA but with the extension of the tuba cab. I think it would be cool to have a SLA baffle on the front of a tall tube design or something keeping it under 48&...

Re: David - Just For Fun

WOW......I hope it all comes to your specs in the end. I think I maybe sold on getting a pair of Davids for my L/R. Can the Davids play volume wise louder than your SLA's? I was just wondering because I just wish my SLA's could play louder and seeing I might be building these Davids I needed to ask....

Re: David - Just For Fun

I thought the woofer and sub cross around 160ish. Meaning thats where both play around. So does that mean that the midranger woofer doesn't play well by itself? I know the sub will play the midbass easier but I figured the mid woofer could play to around 120hz just fine....NO? I am just wondering. T...

:hyper: Love to see the progress and sorry about your misfortune.

Saw a few cars flipped upside down in the news because of all the snow.

Be sure to stay warm and again thanks for the progress pics.
