TRT displacement max

In a single TRT, what would the minimum width requirement be for a 10” with a 50mm stroke? And would I have to double for 2 drivers? (1) 10” Vd 790cc (thanks for checking the math Seth) (2) 10” Vd 1580cc https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-RSS265HE-22-10-Reference-Series-High-Excursion-Subwoo...

Re: Brent

I did come upon one positive side of things today.. the WAF in my house has been altered by the pity coefficient. She let me, even SUGGESTED that I set up my jam rig (complete with Texas headphones) in the living room rather than at my shop down the road so I could have something to do. She even he...

Re: Advice needed for Zumba studio

Thank you drey, What mic do you recommend? How can I high pass the tops without the drive rack? I am getting the crossover bill suggested. Will that be enough to keep the sub frequencies out? Bruce hit it all. On mic I was referring to the instructors headset and that can depend on the wireless sys...

Re: Advice needed for Zumba studio

I'll add that an amp with DSP could be used instead of the driverack. Very simple and you can lock the settings so nobody can change them. While normally I would agree, we don't know what the second "zone' will be used for. Using an outboard DSP keeps options available. Ducking for the mics wo...

Re: Kyyul's Dual Tuba HT Build

Whatever amp you go with (recommending crest prolite 2.0 dsp) get one with dsp as the small additional cost is a huge performance value even if you're using an advanced dsp receiver. Good luck and congrats on your plan, the THT is the best solution in it's category.

Re: Can i use this amp with a T-30?

..is there a big difference between the 8 and 10. What would be be better for music? Plus what is the long style? That is also not in my plans. Like DJP has said the TT would be a great choice. That amp would be fine as long as you go in understanding with any system you will need to work within it...

never had this issue but no reason not to hole saw or jigsaw a hole into the chamber that is suspect. you would have the access you need and easy to patch up reusing the cutout.. :chainsaw:

Re: Behringer

I have used all of the current lightweight offerings from behringer, qsc, crown, and peavey. The peaveys (and presumably the crests) are the best imho. None of them are quite as good as a class AB amp at maintaining rated power output. The behringers perform well enough unless loaded to 2 ohms and/...

Re: DR250's, GoGo Dancers, and Chimpo (UK) (EDM DJ)

I just cant imagine how their noggin isn't pure mush The stage volume was very reasonable and much cleaner sounding than your typical powered speaker on a stick. They were crossed over at 100hz with the PA subs providing the low end fill. A quick polarity swap was done to check for best summation a...
