Re: Enter the Dragon
The DCX unit has 3inputs, and 6 outs, all capable o being independent, so you could use a pair for FOH and the third as a monitor processor. You could have the chain thus- for FOH - stereo out mixer into DEQ- DEQ stereo into DCXinputs 1&2- out to mono sub, plus L+R mains. For mons- mixerboothout...

Re: T39 lab loaded sub WOW!
The way horns accomplish this is by increasing the wavelength to make room for amplitude. . Um. No. Not in rhe slightest true. :) horns are quite simply more efficient at changing the mechanical movement of a speaker cone into sound energy. Therefore a given amount of movement produces more sound. ...

Yeah, I have 8 led monitors that I use for club nights. Can't believe the price they charge for the big video screens when the price of proper monitors is so low. :/

I would still double check it all. The angle of the second section of horn looks strange too. Like one of the driver chamber panels is wrong. I've made many a mistake on layouts. :/

Dude. I've built a stack of these, and I would suggest you remeasure your layout because that doesn't look right to me. The bottom left corner section looks particularly strange... Please double check it but do accept my apologies if I'm wrong. Pictures and perspective can be decieving and I'm looki...

+1 on even sub to top ratio. That said, 6DRs gives a sweet effortless sound over 4titans.
+1 on piezos for all cabs too. I've never had a problem with them keeping up in my dr280s, so I can't imagine them being needed in dr250s.

Until today that is! Proper frosty here.

Re: Compressor, gate, compressor, limited settings
The switch is to change between pro gear and home use. Home hifi stuff runs at -10dB and pro equipment runs at +4. As for the other settings, you need a multimeter to set your limiters to the levels set out in the plans for your drivers. You don't need the gate, and the compressor is not really need...

How do you stop the kids sticking their heads right up to the speakers? That's gonna happen at any gig.

I don't have corners on my DRs and I would recommend a strengthening block at those front corners. Everything else is solid enough unless you are getting really rough with them.

Increased array height means greater line array effect and therefore better distance coverage and lower absolute volume required.

Ps, I mix deltalites and delta pro cabs all the time. I'm sure it wouldn't be much of an issue.
