Re: WH 6s

Indeed it was, in Erith, just outside central London. Fortunately, they moved the pool table to the side of the pub instead of making us setup around it!

Re: WH 6s

OK. It really did happen. The more we use them, the more impressed we get. They are superb. Thanks again Bill!

WH 6s

Built a trio of WH 6s to replace our 12" EV Force monitors. two to use and one as a spare, just in case. They are brilliant! The EVs were loud and clear but very directional and a bit on the heavy side. The WH 6s are louder, clearer, smaller and quite a bit lighter and the spread from them is g...

Re: Internet in Las Vegas.

Many thanks to you all. Ethernet lead ready for chucking in my case. Would to see New Zealand, perhaps next holiday. Just looked at the flight prices, not to bad actually.

Re: Internet in Las Vegas.

Apparently not at the Luxor, infact, quite a few Vegas hotels. There is free wifi in various locations such as Crispy Creme doughnuts next door in the Excalibur and McDonalds, but only wired connections in the rooms at the Luxor.

Internet in Las Vegas.

Hi all, in couple of weeks I shall be flying from the UK to Vegas for my holiday. We'll be staying at the Luxor which offers free, wired internet. I've bought this wifi thingy to connect an iphone and ipad to the internet wirelessly, http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Networking/Apotop/Apotop-Travel-Wi-Fi-Ro...

Re: Upgrading batteries on a cordless tools

Put your batteries in the freezer overnight and when you take them out give them a good bashing with a heavy object, not enough the split the plastic but enough to break the tracks that build up inside. Yes it does sound like a joke but I tried it and it actually works.

i use an IPR 1600 for foldback and it's great and the lights on it can replace a light show.

Re: PEAVEY IPR 1600

2 EV force 1 monitor cabs on one channel and an LD 15 + horn on the other. The Peavey replaced a phonic 450w per channel power amp. Much better sound, clearer, louder, ( I was asked to turn it down! ), I'm impressed by this amp.

PEAVEY IPR 1600

I used a Peavey ipr 1600 tonight for the first time. It was used on the foldback and I have to say that I am impressed. Loud and clean and incredibly light. The leds on it are pretty loud as well, you can certainly see that it's working.
