Re: Titan 39 3012LF Optimal Width
Grant Bunter Much appreciate the discourse. I am leaning toward the smaller side of things but agree it seems a shame if there are significant gains to building wider. Especially if the weight difference is manageable. I definitely am shooting for two boxes. The second one should take only half as l...

Re: Titan 39 3012LF Optimal Width
SethRocksYou Nice video, really shows what the cab can do outside. Keeping in mind all the attendant parameters limiting the actual performance reproduction. Phone spkrs, phone microphone, etc😀 I am leaning strongly toward the smallest box within 5-10lbs of the 15” width. So now to investigate width ...

Re: Titan 39 3012LF Optimal Width
Thank you SethRocksYou and Grant Bunter. I have availed myself of the SQL charts Seth and read your informative comments Grant. I should have been more specific to start... I have on hand two of the old style Jack 10's, two Wedgehorn 8's and an Autotuba. Like all of them. The Jacks and Wedges are al...

Titan 39 3012LF Optimal Width
Having done some searches and coming up empty I am hoping to get some advice on recommended width to build two Titan 39's. I used to know this stuff but that was 8-10 years ago after spending many hours reading the fascinating content herein. After a break of some 5-6 years I am back and rarin' to g...

Re: T39 Lite - worth the gamble? - maybe
peteaphid, Welcome to the forum. As long as the friend who "Knows what he's doing" reads through the plans at least 3-4 times and follows the techiniques as directed everything is fine. Some techniques and methods employed in the plans vary significantly from traditional accepted woodworki...

re: Little Tool... (no not going there)... the cheap mans version is simply a 1/4" combination wrench used with the phillips bit! Worked for my W8's anyway.
Wasn't easy though. As you say the $3 is surely well spent.

Re: Across The Pond
Did any of the audience jump in for a swim while you guys played? It reminds me of playing on the NCL cruise ship back in the day. Only gig I ever played where the dance floor swayed and the horizon was a constantly changing panorama! Gosh it was fun. Oh yeah there was the round dance floor at the Q...

I got some Jack 10's I built a couple of years ago and have been used maybe 3 or 4 times.
I'm gonna "Jack" 'em up at a party the end of the month though....

Re: T48's review
It's giant kids and tiny people when looking at the two posted pictures juxtaposed together. An odd visual effect somehow. Probably my eyes. Great review. Great clips of the party. How a party should be for sure. And wrapped nicely with quite useful comments on the speakers. Thanks for sharing. :hyp...

Nice progress. Making me wanna get busy with the Table Saw. If you can do it with a circular saw I don't have an excuse.
Just a warning on drinking and power tools. Probably not recommended.
