Re: iNuke 6000 NU4

Welp, I made the leap and ordered a NU4-6000 for a church. Two channels will power small EVid sidefilles, and two channels will power small lobby/cryroom speakers. We shall see!

Re: Solo Gig Rig - Advice

I'd also consider some of the nicer molded or soft sided racks that roll like a suitcase (telescoping handle, possibly pockets for gear). I've found these to be just too darn convenient. You can also usually bungee/ratchet another piece of gear or two to roll on top of it. Additionally, the suitcase...

Re: Home Amp - future planning

All power amps should have either a combo XLR-TRS input, or a separate TRS input. It works just fine to run unbalanced into an amp, using a RCA to TS (1/4" with only one ring) cable or adapter.

If it works, I'd build/buy one. But only if we can call it a cajorn.

Re: Decent wireless mics?

Am I the only one still using GTD Audio mics? They've served me well in a variety of applications. Sure, I wish I had better ones, but $$$.

Re: Worth a read... speaker falls on 10 year old

Seems like a couple of these with lag bolts could have prevented the problem, even if it was partially due to horseplay. http://www.amazon.com/Stage-SS7914B-Mou ... tagestands

How can you not have compassion on someone who is consumed by bitterness and who knows what else?

Re: How the He11 do U deal with sound "experts" in the booth

"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." Remember to separate this guy from his afflictions... if he has bitterness or jealousy and comes after your work at the church due to it, it's eating him up much more than it is affecting...

Re: Attention StudioLive and Soundcraft SiCompact users...

Drummers should be able to control things on an acoustic kit. E-drums are not acceptable...they don't play the same. You say you play with a modeler instead of an amp. But you're still playing a guitar that feels the same. Most e-drum kits would be the equivalent to using a Guitar Hero guitar instea...

Rick Lee: I even got to suggest a budget and they're letting me get a keyboard and drumset!

Re: Attention StudioLive and Soundcraft SiCompact users...

I think the SL power supply issues were long since fixed. I'm curious to hear your ideas for a drumset. We can get you hooked up with a great drumset less than your budget. I know a lot of people here are fans of e-kits but as a drummer I just can't do it! It also depends on the style of your church...

Re: GTD amps

Nobody is claiming the company is reputable. Just wondering if the product is valuable... which is a low standard when these things are $130 all in and many of us have had luck with their wireless mics. I've e-mailed with the company (using their hotmail address) and it's associated with a man with ...

Re: StudioLive mixing on iPad

The rack would probably be up on stage next to where I'm drumming, so that's not as much of a problem. But what happens when the main buss levels are set via iPad and someone adjusts the faders?

GTD amps

Anyone used em?

I know a few of us on here like their wireless mics but I'm looking for a vouch before I pick up an amp.
