Re: Question for the Computer Guys

i7 quad core is the way to go as far as in terms of the "cost - benefit ratio". if you can afford the i7x the 6cores is even better for video editing/encoding/decoding. don't skim out on the video card either. ... It's interesting that the AMD Phenom 6-Core Processors range in price from ...

Re: Question for the Computer Guys

It's a good thing this forum doesn't have thread-drift... :D So, for most Audio / Video applications, if you're (re)building a system from scratch (new M/B, CPU, Memory, Video Card), is it better to use a 4-Core Processor that has a higher clock frequency rather than a 6-Core Processor with a lower ...

Re: speakerhardware digmoda amps

You might check this thread by Leland, who is SpeakerHardware.com.

He used some of the amps you're asking about in some speakers recently.

Re: Recommendations for Analog Crossover as Backup for DCX2496

If you don't mind doing some soldering and assembly yourself, you might consider one of the Marchand Electronics Crossover kits. XM9-A - 24 dB/Oct Electronic Crossover, circuit board only = $ 70.00 XM16-A - 48 dB/Oct Electronic Crossover, circuit board only = $ 80.00 You'll need to contact Marchand ...

Re: 2xAutoTuba results from USAC / DB Drag Race

If word gets around in these "DB Drag" circles Bill will be sellin' quite a few plans. Naaa... I don't think so. It's all about "I've got 20.000 watts and 5 extra alternators attached to 3 batteries and 6 capacitors" :wall: :wall: :wall: :? ... +1. dB competitions are abo...

If you copy-&-paste the URL's of the images in his post, the pictures are there on the server in the link.

So, maybe he didn't use the correct syntax with the [ img ] tag.

Re: Auto Tuba Build Questions...

... Meanwhile, next time, and there will be a next time :D I found a nearby lumber source with a nice looking 7-ply 1/2 A/C or B/C (can't remmeber which) for $21 a sheet. Re: 31 band hook up

I was going to check for the Manual or User's Guide on the Behringer web site, but looking at the Behringer Mixer Index - Powered Mixers page, I don't see one that has any more than 20 Inputs.

The price on the linked page is currently showing:

But, there is a disclaimer on each page that says, "Prices on our website may or may not be current prices in our stores"

Did you buy an in-store special of $2.99 ?

Silly question here, but does corner loading boost frequency response at all frequencies? My experience of putting bass cabs into corners is that it really helps the extension but to some extent choked the kick range somewhat - this looks like it happens with V-coupling as well. From a corner loadi...

that is cheap! I was thinking of something around 200 or so. Thats better than I thought. 8) You also have to consider that the Lower-Pressure, High-Flow Compressors are probably more expensive than the High-Pressure, Lower-Flow models that work fine for most Air Tools. If your current comp...
