T60 spec questions

Please help my memory! If I'm running a herd of T60s outside:
What's the path length
What's the high pass
What's the voltage limit (dual 6 ohm 12s in parallel) each cab.

Won't be running them super hard. Just need to jog my memory...
Thanks!

It's 200 miles away but Nashville Plywood has all the sizes of BB with great prices.

Re: DR300- Plans have wooden horn, pics have vendor supplied?

Alas, I don't check in often, but I'm still building speakers, mostly other designs. Not to downplay BFM but customers tend to follow the crowd of whatever is new. Concerning the 1.4" CD, I don't make it fit. It's on top of the DR with a larger horn and lower xover. Obviously doesn't work with ...

Re: DR300- Plans have wooden horn, pics have vendor supplied?

I've chosen to construct my DR200's out of ¼" ply instead of ½" and have found a lightweight neo driver that's just a smidge out of the 10% spec window. They're not assembled yet, so I can't really give a firsthand performance testimonial. But, I expect they'll suite my needs and possibly...

Re: 2xDR250 CNC project

Looks great! Buying/building a CNC machine is one of my future goals especially since I'm sure there are no maker spaces anywhere close. Concerning the thinner ply, I've built DR200s out of 1/4" and it worked well. I increased bracing as well but would say that extra bracing on the outer side p...

Re: Under Garage Home Theater Build

If the sub(s) modeled well in the back of the room you could build a raised platform with the subs built into them. Otherwise..., eh. Sounds like you're not really understanding absorbing sound and isolation. I only understand it coming at it as a musician and not from an engineering angle so I'm ce...

Re: Under Garage Home Theater Build

Well, you have it easy then. Don't worry about sound leakage but I would still drywall all of it (with caulking and fiberglass on the backside) because the low resonance of each complete unit will help dissipate peaks and smooth out the low end. However, I wouldn't use the same thickness of drywall ...

Re: Under Garage Home Theater Build

Ooo, more comments and pictures!! Yes, seal the hole with concrete and flexible caulk. That's a huge weak area sound wise. Looks like the pipe doesn't penetrate the inner wall. Yay! I've got lots of thoughts on your door but it looks like you're headed in the right direction. The main thing with the...

Re: Under Garage Home Theater Build

Ah, I remember your build threads. Love how you did the Table Tubas. Time flies.... Okay, the picture is coming into focus: you built the stud walls and ceiling not necessarily for isolation, just as space to run electrical and acoustic insulation. The penetrations are the door and an 8" hole. ...

Re: Under Garage Home Theater Build

Correct. Just trying to keep things simple for the OP. He currently has a single leaf structure that has a lot of mass. Because of the mass only the lowest frequencies will have enough energy to cause the floor, walls and ceilings to resonate and thus radiate sound to the other side. The simplest wa...

Re: Under Garage Home Theater Build

Are you building a room within a room? Without looking too carefully that's what it looks like. With all the concrete it's a little bit of overkill but if that's really what you're going for I'm curious what you're doing with the door and HVAC system. It's a whole nother world if you're trying to mi...

Re: 8 x DR250 build

Great idea to screw top and bottom. The modules are strong with no flex so there's no need for more than 4 screws IMO. Probably could get away with just speaker caulk too.

Re: Replacing a EMX 5000

+1 on the Behringer XR18 and buying it on the eBay musicgroup1 site. If you want knobs to twiddle but don't need as many channels get the X32 Producer. Well within budget and the sound is stellar. You can also control it with a tablet or phone. It isn't a downgrade in SQ. You won't need your old boa...

Re: Source for Behringer, Midas, Klark Technic, Turbosound gear

Try this: http://www.ebay.com/usr/musicgroup1 I like the other format because you can easily check "newly listed". I've been watching the site for about three weeks. It changes fairly regularly and some of the more popular stuff doesn't stay for long. My ADA8000 needs some capacitors repla...
