Internal fuses?
Re: Sure amps
So if I were to buy two of the four channel amps, could i power both of them with one power supply?
Re: Sure amps
Hmmm, so i wonder if i should try, or get the supply that im not sure that i need?
Sure amps
The spec says that they can run on a wide range of voltage. If using them in the car, can you just hook them up to 12 volts, or do you have to buy the power supply?

Re: Amp recommendations for AutoTuba?
Just started the build for AutoTuba (w/ MCM 55-2421), to go into a Buick Century. Head unit is an Alpine CDA 9883, with Focal Polyglass 5.25 components on a Fosgate Punch-45, (circa 2000). What is a competent dedicated amp to run the AutoTuba? I want to get "value quality". I think anythi...

Re: Experimental Tuba 36
I think that most of your Peavey lovers would come from the old CS tank amps that just wouldnt die. Like any other company tho, they have many different levels of gear, some great some not so great. I could get my uncles together with a tub full of beer, and they'll fight all night over Chevy Ford o...

clip light
I've noticed this for some time, but i figured i'd address it. One channel on my sub amp clips sooner than the other. Both channels are loaded the same so this isnt the reason.,. Regardless of how i turn down the channel thats clipping, it wont affect it, leading me to believe its input rather than ...

Re: Sensitivity
Yeah, i thought of that, and im sure there was some measure of power loss. The dr's were on 50ft and the Peaveys 100ft. I had noticed the volume loss long ago when I only had 2 DR's and ran the Peaveys along side them. The diff. was more noticable however because the spks were in different rooms thi...

I'm not sure if this would be of any use to anyone, but i'm gonna throw it out there anyway. I always knew that BFM cabs were way more efficient than store bought speakers, but that never gave me any real world info. Last week I was the Dj for four high school project graduation events. Starts at 10...
