Re: Update Authorized Builder List /Commercial Cab Comparison?

Again. Mind your own business. I don't think you're the designated list keeper. Pretty sure Bill can do that all by himself. What were you the hall monitor in school?

Re: Update Authorized Builder List /Commercial Cab Comparison?

You know something Bill. I really don't like this fucking guy calling me out.

I received your email bud. I really don't know what the problem is. It's Bill's site. He's already stated what HE does on HIS site.

Politely saying mind your own business

Re: Kent's 2x T39's

I always use Baltic Birch. Most definitely the material to use. I know I didn't have to on Titan's, but the cost difference isn't that significant.

Kappalite I might use next time. No reason, just picking what I thought was a high quality driver for the enclosure.

Re: Kent's 2x T39's

While I was waiting for the miter fold glue to cure up, I decided to tackle the handles on the top, bottom, and back. 16 handholds total to cut. I made a jig. After the handholds, one of the most important steps IMO is recessing that speakon connector. Hopefully the pictures will explain it. The spe...

Re: Kent's 2x T39's

I almost always will miter fold pieces like this. I'm assuming some of you good builders here will do the same. I make sure that angle is spot on. Otherwise, it's junk

Re: Kent's 2x T39's

I reverse my 5 and 7 panels from the pdf file. I like to get that front access panel just right. I have Rhino3d CAD and re-did all of the measurements to get accurate measurement of that front panel. I seem to have it dialed in, this is the third one I have done like this and it seems to have worked...

Re: Kent's 2x T39's

Baffle chamber is assembled, and I'm now on to the bracing. I'll reiterate, I think the most important pieces on these builds are the solid connections of the braces to the body. I’m focusing on a thin, even bead and a strong, consistent clamp to activate the polyurethane and fill any micro-gaps.

Re: Kent's 2x T39's

Thank you Radian! Yeah, so these are being made for someone and I quite honestly can't do them much less than a LAB12. I mean, come on... I do have to stop here and say I appreciate the drawing guide that Bill has with the designs. They are spot on. I use a CAD program to get me numbers that I like ...

Kent's 2x T39's

My journey with Bill's plans began with the T39, which was the very first build I ever attempted. After that, I decided to take on another project, and these two cabinets represent my second and third builds. It's been a great learning experience, as they turned out significantly better than my firs...

Re: DR200 Kent's build

That last picture is actually the final shot I grabbed before shipping it off to my customer. I got caught up rushing at the end and didn’t take nearly as many photos as I wanted. No interior shots of the high-frequency drivers—I just assembled them. They’ve got two solid Eminence compression driver...

Re: DR200 Kent's build

For my crossover, I put everything on one board just to make it simple for me. I know that might not be the best method having all those parts close together, but I've never had problems with my crossovers. PXL_20250703_132644816.jpg This was to screw the board down when I placed it inside the cabin...

Re: DR200 Kent's build

I didn't get many pictures from this point on. I was rushing to the end, but I did still manage to get some final shots. For the throat pieces, I was able to do everything right on my miter saw.
