I'm curious. Way back I went to a sound engineering school and our instructor used a set up with no crossovers in the cabs. Every driver had it's own input and was controlled by rack crossovers like this dbx. Anyone do that anymore? Or was he crazy?

Understood. I haven't selected the Drive rack portion of the build. I hadn't considered that it would eliminate the need for the crossover in the sub when bi amped. I will add this to the list of necessary equipment.
