Update. Not light so we did testing in the shop (30x30) powered up using a QSC GX5 amp. Uh.... wow. The output was palpable, really enjoyed it, no internal rattles and it is tight tight tight. Still need to figure out a finish, did odies oil on one side and it is nice. May do that. Next step is the ...

I was able to get the plate amp for my old velodyne working again over the weekend- its rated 165 RMS/275 peak @ 8 ohms. Enough?

Only need one pretty side so even better- cool.
