Re: 2 DR280's vs 3 DR250's
I currently use a pair of DR280's {stacked vertically} but they are quite hefty to mount atop my {pair} T48's cause I sometimes have no choice but to work solo.. I hear you man, are you using the ground stack/coupling brackets in the plans? No. we built custom brackets and dolly. You can check them...

2 DR280's vs 3 DR250's
Good day folks, Now I'm not sure if the topic has already been discussed elsewhere on the forum but I was wondering if (3) DR250 stacked would have similar or greater output to (2) stacked DR280s? Reason being, I currently use a pair of DR280's {stacked vertically} but they are quite hefty to mount ...

Re: RCF L15s801 for the T48?
Hey guys! Long time no type. Hope all is well in your respective neighborhoods... As the header says, is the RCF L15s801 Subwoofer a good candidate for the BFM T48? Specs are as follows. Fs: 48Hz Qts: .32 Xmax: 6mm Nope....not enough xmax if you want to give it some power. Ok what about the PRV 15w...

Re: BFM {24 inch wide} T48 vs EAW SB 1000z
Welcome back. How have you been? How exactly would you like to compare them? Price tag? For $4500 (us) you could have one SB1000Z or a stack of 8 T48's with cash to spare. Well I own a pair of T48s (JBL 2226h loaded) and recently a friend asked me to build (yes I can build cabinets) 10 SB1000z's fo...

Re: Compatible 12 for DR280 cabinet?
Have you tried getting PRV from Brazil? The PRV 12MB1000FT is a good looking driver. There is a dealer over here and just this morning I contacted him about the cost and availability of the 12MB1000ft, 12W800a for the DR280 and the 15SW2000 and 15W1000v2 for the T48s. He said he'd get back to me wi...

Re: Compatible 12 for DR280 cabinet?
A Dm3 is a liter. Vas doesn't matter all that much so long as it isn't grossly large. I would be wary of an unknown driver brand. Thanks for the timely response. None of the recommended speakers in the plans are available over here and due to their weight and mass they are very expensive to ship an...

Compatible 12 for DR280 cabinet?
Good day guys, All the best for 2025 and beyond! Attached are the T/S Parameters of a newly available 12 inch speaker/brand in my part of the planet. It contains specifics that fall within the recommended parameters of the DR280 plans EXCEPT for the Vas (it's also not listed in liters but in cubic d...
