Re: New Beta clones from MCM
Just to follow up, I received an email from MCM stating that the response charts for the 55-2972 and the 55-2961 are now posted on their website in the Datasheet PDFs located on the respective product pages. Here are the links: 55-2972 http://www.mcmelectronics.com/content/ProductData/Spec%20Sheets/...

Re: New Beta clones from MCM
Seis~
Thanks for the info. I decided against the MCM 10" drivers for now. And after reading your post, glad I did. Once I get the first pair of Jacks built, I'll start looking into building the second pair.
Thanks again for your input.

Re: New Beta clones from MCM
I'm curious as well about using the MCM 55-2961 in a Jack 110. It will be a couple of months before I actually get to start building one, but this deal might be too good to pass up. I also noticed at MCM a good deal on the MCM 55-2972. Here are the T/S parameters if anybody can give some input as to...

Cabinet edge trims?
Hey everybody~ I'm close to having the DR250/Tuba setup completed. Does anybody have any recommendations for the trimming the edges? There seem to be lots of options for corner protection, but I haven't seen much in the way of protecting the edges. I was thinking of a nice plastic or aluminum extrus...

Re: The "Micro PA" project is coming along...
KaptainJohn and I will be getting together here once his DR's are done and we'll spend a day running the RTA on everything. I'll post up charts then. Looking forward to it. The first DR250 is almost done - just need to do the wiring. Seems like it took forever to build, though - I'm hoping the seco...

Testing my tweeters
Ok, so I received 24 of my 36 ordered tweeters today for my DR250 build. I am currently testing all of them. They all seem to work ok, but I'm not sure how to check if any of them are out of phase. I've hooked them all up individually to my stereo tuned to static and they all pretty much sound the s...

Revisiting Adjustable Top Hats
This was mentioned in a post a few months back, but never really answered, so I thought I would bring it up again.
Has anybody tried these adjustable top hats?

Or does anybody know of a similar alternative? These are pretty pricey at $19.99 each.
