Not sure how many are still are still around from the old days, crazy I joined over 11 years ago. I'm still doing sound shows once in while, mo...

Re: Graph overload! 5subs/4cabs. What I have been up to of l
I use an Ashly NE8800m 96k processor for all of my signal routing and shaping: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/12743_170134341828_5507996_n.jpg I set up a 24db/oct Butterworth high pass on the direct radiators at 20hz, then set up a 35hz HP on the Cerwins. Low passed both at 80 where they c...

I'm going to build a prototype 20-22hz tune next. Considering trying an 18 as well as there are more choices in the 18" class.

Re: Graph overload! 5subs/4cabs. What I have been up to of l
Nick - Based on the path length of the CV somewhat horns, I delayed the rest of the cabinets 6' and got the direct radiators in phase. It crushed. Here is a vid of it during the show: x1GQXaGJY9Q Sub - CBT prototypes are still hanging out in the garage. Messing with isophasic line arrays for the HF ...

Graph overload! 5subs/4cabs. What I have been up to of late.
I had a measurement party a couple of weeks ago to see just what my cabinets and drivers are doing in their various configurations. The following graphs are the result of basic frequency response measurements. The FR plots are quite a bit of data, I haven't started crunching the waterfalls and imped...

Re: Dual Loaded Table Tuba Review
Best part, you have a massive box with teeeny lil speakers, and nobody believes you when you say "Oh just a pair of cheap 8s". Liking the curved mouth bracing.

Re: First gig with a dual lab12 T60
I have had my eye on the T60 for quite some time, and might just build one. I have been waiting for another tuba that can legitimately corner low 30s/upper 20s in stacks since I built the 8 THTs.

Re: Dual Loaded Table Tuba Review
Decibel is one of my all time favorite tracks to scare people with. Great review, and nice build. I'm not the only one crazy enough to put a tuba in a car. Careful though, I cracked the windshield in my Explorer with a THT.

Re: Basement Disco System
A couple THT under the stairs would work nicely. I did it at a couple of house parties with similar intent to this home disco. 2 THTs did everything I could have asked for in extension, SQ, and output. I noticed localization issues around 95hz at 24db/oct. Ease of use for the wife comes down to the ...

Re: Sub Focus @ Bass Orgy 8xT48 4xDR280
Sub Focus on T48s? He needs T60s, such a technical producer that uses 25-30hz very effectively.

Re: THT's and dubstep
Metaverse, running a THT without the access panel creates a massive dip from 75-120hz. and response below 38hz dives.. this graph of the THT with no cover tells the story.. open chamber.jpg with the panel as designed.. THTgraph.gif Free field measurements of the actual cabs indicates a deeper respo...
