Re: TLAH PRO driver

Basement. They could but I'd prefer not to - would be quite a bit of concrete. What if I built the subs into the stadium steating, I could make the horn mouth the step maybe (though that doesn't take advantage of corner loading), or alternatively leave the space all open instead of boxing it in?

Re: TLAH PRO driver

Not bound to the dimensions, it's still only partially framed so I can adjust much of it. I'll reconsider it using those, thanks! Any alterations to consider if I do stadium seating?

Re: TLAH PRO driver

Wood working skills? Pretty decent. Built a 5'x7' family table that looks phenomenal. Built a 50gal aquarium cabinet. Built various car sub boxes. Any history in setting up PA? None Soldering? Lots. Have a 1000W hot air rework station and occasionally repair amplifiers. Electronics? Used to design s...

This kind of response is the norm... But at least now you understand what I'm after... Yes, it's dangerous levels, I know that 100%.

Re: TLAH PRO driver

Well maybe not, but he's quite an audiophile and it's built in a 2ft thick concrete walled basement designed as a bomb bunker. System is designed to overcome a 30ish hz null due to absorption in by the concrete. He's measured to having less than 3db change from 20hz to 20khz, of course he's using a ...

Re: TLAH PRO driver

Ok, that makes sense then, thanks.

Maybe this will help with what I'm after? I want to have something on the level of the below, but I was thinking of doing it with line arrays and folded horns.

Re: TLAH PRO driver

:horse: I know. But that still doesn't accomplish what I'm after. Think rock concert levels for HT. Think bass above the subs (in the 80-500Hz) that will kick you in the chest and really scare you.

Re: TLAH PRO driver

Sigh. Fine I'll just have to extrapolate from your curvearray sla. Those small speakers don't have the lower midbass response at volume I'm after.

TLAH PRO driver

Are these buyouts workable for tlah pro combined with the recommended 1016 tweets? https://www.parts-express.com/dynalab-v22-dr-0003-8-paper-cone-woofer-4-ohm--299-4004 Also any chance of a curved horizontal tlah pro with 8" speakers for use as a center channel, or maybe the 8 8" woofers s...
