Predrill the screw holes in the blocks first, before driving the screws in, okay?

Re: First BFM Build Odyssey: Tuba 60

So I attempted to secure the other retention blocks with a drywall screw but there was no proper way to drive the screw through cuz it would just push the block away. Try to install the blocks with screws (pre-drilled holes before installing the screws), then, remove screws until just the point sti...

I would use the AES number, and drop the voltage by 5v. There would not be much difference in output by using a bit less, but you would save the drivers from over extention. You gain more SPL by adding cabs than you would by cranking up the last bit of amp power.

Re: Newbie with questions over crossover

Hi kramma, and welcome to the forum!
Enjoy your build!
If you follow the plans you will end up with a fine speaker. In regards to the tweeters, it is fine that they will be wired up as 16 ohms; your amp won't care.

Re: 8*T30 30" dual 12" european

The angle between panel 7 and 8 is less than 90 degrees, which means that a 45degree angle will not allow proper fit and contact. Sorry.
