Re: Titan 39 Wide build
Now .. just need some warmer weather (I’m in Vermont) so I can get out to the garage and start my dance with the PL. Ha....I've been in the garage this morning making sawdust in short sleeves. Suppose to get to 80 today. I'd love to give you 10 degrees year-round. Sure would make summers more...

Re: Titan 39 Wide build
Bruce, Bryan thanks again. I did see that Crown amp, wondered if it would suffice. Check. Not knowing anything practically about racks, was wondering if a 4U would work. Check. Also, love the idea of a rack panel. I can fabricate that. Will start with the Greeley suggestion. Check. Now .. just need ...

Re: Titan 39 Wide build
Thanks Bruce and Bryan. I'll look for a used Driverack PA. Several on Reverb now for $200.
Do you have any suggestions for a reasonably priced amp for my small combo application ? Small rooms and < 20 gigs per year.

Re: Titan 39 Wide build
We run a Mackie ProFX12v3 mixer. Output to 2 powered tops, 2 powered monitors. No subwoofer, hence my build. So the signal chain from the Mackie will be ? L/R main mixer output to DriverackPA L/R high (or mid ?) DriverackPA output to L/R powered tops L or R low DriverackPA output to Subwoofer power ...

Re: Titan 39 Wide build
OK, thanks for the responses. I was hoping to mount an onboard amp to minimize transport & setup complications. You confirmed that modifying the horn is bad .. so scratch that idea. We run powered tops. So, in addition to the Titan 39 I will need a rack mount power amp. And a way to split signal...

Titan 39 Wide build
Hello, after successfully completing a Jack 10 Lite last year for my grab n go bass rig (love it for both rehearsal and gigs!) I'm embarking on a Titan 39 24" wide build. My 4pc rock band does not run a subwoofer with our unpowered Mackie 12ch mixer. We play clubs and occasional outdoor gigs. I...

Re: Jack 10 LT Fin!
Update: Rehearsed (for the first time since October) with my acoustic group. Jack10 LT performed flawlessly. I usually rehearse with that group using a powered 10inch PA speaker (cause that's what's there) My Jack 10 sounds much better than the powered 10. We rehearse un mic'd so I was playing quite...

Re: Jack 10 LT Fin!
Update: Completed weight = 20.8 lbs with Deltalite 2510 Using GKMB200 (166W @ 8ohm) and P-Bass rehearsed with my loud rock combo last night in our small rehearsal space .. worked great. Volume and headroom to spare. Compliments from the band. "You could gig with that in our smaller clubs"....

Jack 10 LT Fin!
My first ever speaker build. To be used as my ‘grab and go’ bass rig with a GKMB200.
Still testing eq sweep/ranges for my desired tone.
Great build experience.
Now... maybe a Titan 39 for a sub ?
