Re: Pair of WH6 Lites build
How's the build coming along Seth? Seeing the two wh6 stacked together has inspired me. I'd love to see how they preform for pa duty. My circle plays almost exclusively acoustic music. A wh6 might be the perfect speaker for me. A tiny monitor for larger gigs (we use little monitor power in the first...

is it possible to split the omnitop 8 in half?
I would love to have a little 1x8 pa top for light pa duties and the simpler construction of the omni series is attractive.
Theoretically one should be able to split an omnitop 8 directly in half with little issue. Does this idea stand any sort of chance?

Re: HowieZ DR200 build
Thanks!
$200 a speaker isn't too bad when you could easily be spending $200 per woofer

Re: HowieZ DR200 build
Great build!
Do you have a total cost breakdown for there pair.
I'd love to do a build but I'm on a tight budget. Dr200s with the budget driver may be just what I need

Re: HowieZ DR200 build
Glad to have you back. I'm excited to see how the budget driver works out.
Bill said it might be decent with eq. Id be interested in using cheap drivers for a set of wedgehorn 8s

Re: How well can auto tubas perform without cabin gain?
Well the mcm drivers are out of stock until may. I guess the project will have to wait unless there are other suitable drivers at a similar price. I really wish bill would post a list of compatible drivers for each cab. I know its included in the plans but if I'm building on a budget, I don't want t...

Re: How well can auto tubas perform without cabin gain?
It seems like the verdict is that two auto tubas will work, but they wont be blowing anyone away. If I have enough wood left over, ill build two. If not, one for my car will be enough.

Re: How well can auto tubas perform without cabin gain?
I should have clarified that I have the budget for 2 mcm 8" loaded cabs. $30 per driver is hard to beat.

I'm excited to see how well this driver works. The affordability is what draws me to bfm designs

How well can auto tubas perform without cabin gain?
I'm interested building a mcm loaded auto tuba for my car. I figured while I was at it, I should make a second one so that I can use the pair for very light sound reinforcement applications (party speakers or acoustic bands) just to round out the bottom of my pa tops. I know the tuba 18 would be mor...

Re: Jack 210 or 212 lite
Nice to hear. I bought my cab second hand so I didn't build it myself. I've never seen anything on the forum about the lite 210/212s so I didn't think they existed.

Re: Jack 210 or 212 lite
The option for a 2x10 or 2x12 is in the plans. My reservation would be the bulk, but if you're a strapping young lad that might not put you off. Are there lite versions of the 210 and 212 in the plans? I've seen others 212s and think they look great but they would be even better if they used the th...

Re: Jack 210 or 212 lite
Build 2 Jack10 lites ...... put PL on the top of one, place the other one on top of that - clamp - wait one day....done. Or just let the top of one be the bottom of the other and make the sides twice as long minus the width of one top. First option is easier.... I was assuming that was th...

Jack 210 or 212 lite
I've looked through the forum but I don't think I've come across what I'm looking for. Has anyone made a lite version of a j210 or 212? I bought a j110 lite awhile ago and have been enjoying the light weight. My 110 is enough for me now but I don't want to switch to heavy cabs if I join a louder ban...
