Re: Truck or autotuba?
Just a matter of maximum output, headroom, curiosity and liking the beefy driver is all. It sounds fine as is.

Truck or autotuba?
Hello guys. Another project, another question  New driver, new car and new enclosure build. Having already built the truck tuba to maximum width for a 10" driver, i am thinking about its tolerances for high cone travel in regards to chuffing, as described before in other posts when using a...

Re: Truck tuba driver.
Ok. I understand. But other than the unnecessary extention of the TT, it should be ok? I have dsp as well. Wath about the GAZ drivers? Just discard them? Once you go BFM or (horn loaded) you dont go back. Wath would be the downsides of using them in a trt or perhaps a TT? Thanks for replying guyes :...

Re: Truck tuba driver.
I couldn't find the depth. From what i can remember they aren't that deep. I already cut the wood for the trt
Making the panels 9" so mounting depth should not be an issue.
Also got the dayton um 10-22 on hand, but it seems a bit like overkill for a trt?

Truck tuba driver.
Hello to you all! I got some 10" drivers laying dormant. Have had them for years but never gotten around using them. They are car subwoofer drivers. When looking at the drivers ts parameters compared to the recomended ts parameters in the trt plans, i can see VAS is a bit high at 46,4 and FS lo...

Crossover for OT-8
Hi guys. I am planing to build the Omnitop 8 X3 for LCR. Already got 6x D220Ti 1" and 6x Fane Sovereign 8-225 for drivers. My question is- will the pre built Dayton Audio XO2W-2K 2-Way Speaker Crossover 2,000 Hz work sufficiently as crossovers? Whath would be the difference compared to the diy ...
