Re: How the He11 do U deal with sound "experts" in the booth

The boxes are mounted too high, which you've acknowledged, and the down tilted array won't fix that. The whole box should be tilted, which you also acknowledged. You also mention you're relying on wedges to fill uncovered areas. That' not a good thing. The mad guy might've been on to something....ma...

You might want to find out where he's sitting and have a listen. That's how a pro would handle it - particularly in a church where compassion should be foremost. Someone will always complain...making them feel listened to will usually defuse the situation.

The dsp in the 02 series crowns is pretty good. Much better than the original xti, both in features and audio quality.

Re: Attention StudioLive and Soundcraft SiCompact users...

I have no desire to mix on ipads or iphones or any such doody. As far as track record Brent if you think about it, the SL and the Si compact have very little. As soon as I can sell my sac I'll be picking up an X32. 48 ch sac system anyone?

Re: Attention StudioLive and Soundcraft SiCompact users...

Brent-you might want to take a look at the new Behringer X32. Pretty impressive for the money. Personal mixers run right off the stage boxes. They are finally starting to show up here at distributors. The sound quality of the SL is just ok - not stellar - faders seem a little hinky and are non-motor...

Re: Does anyone have a preferred table saw?

I've been running a Powermatic 66 with the Beismeyer fence for 17 years - if you have the room a good table saw is the way to go. Accessories are a panel sled, dado set, and a taper jig. Way faster.

T30's don't disapoint. The extra low end extension is nice.

Re: DCX2496

You'll need to eq the subs to get them right - more or less reverse the response curve.

Yes it's easier to use a laptop.

You need to limit the output voltage of the amplifier according to the plan.
