Re: Update on best drivers to replace Delta Pro 8?

I think the best alternativ for the Delta Pro 8A is the Beta 8. Yes the Beta has less sensitivty but it has the flat frequency response from 100 Hz to 2 kHz which the Delta has. If you are looking for speakers within the parameters nearly every speaker hasn't the flat response like the Eminence spea...

Re: Update on best drivers to replace Delta Pro 8?

I can say that the european market is nearly empty und Adam Hall doesn't import them anymore. Although Eminence has enough in stock...

That's the reason I have to order directly in the US.

Re: Deformation of Piezos

Yes, I think that something in the manufacturing process went wrong, too. I wrote to goldwood and they will talking to an engineer. Goldwood told me that for my problem I have to find a solution with parts-express because I didn't order from goldwood. I think that the small deformation wouldn't be a...

Re: Deformation of Piezos

I wrote to the sales team of parts-express and waiting for feedback.

But maybe I should check the warranty options of goldwood, too.

Thank you Seth.

Best regards

Re: Another Californian

I had been thinking that the CD was worth the money just to have have everything. I have seen the talk of driver specs, voltage limits, etc. so maybe all those aspects of the plans are part of what I am missing in my analysis. Hi Jordan, I recommend you to buy the CD. I ordered only six plans last ...

Deformation of Piezos

Hello all, last week my order of parts-express with my goldwood piezos for four DR200 arrived from US. I tested them with pink noise first and noticed that some are a hint more sensitive than others. Two piezos out of 100 are very quiet or didn't work. The rest is working for the initial test. Becau...

In the DR section in the topic "Eminence HF Drivers" you wrote: "The NSD 2005 driver has been discontinued. Once existing supplier inventories are sold they won't be available. The Eminence F151M-8 may be substituted for the NSD 2005. The similar neo magnet F151M-8 is not a suitable replacement for ...

Re: Combining different widths of cabs

That's because Bill came to the conclusion there was no additional output in a 30 inch wide cab vs a 28 inch wide cab. If it's important enough, you might double check that with Bill. I clearly recall him stating that he changed the plans due to 28" being able to fit through doorways... which leave...

Re: Combining different widths of cabs

Thank you very much Grant for your answer. So I was right that cab width has no effect of the horn delay so I could combine different widths of the same cab. is there a law how much more SPL I get with every step wider? Some withs I saw in the SPL-Charts. The maximum widths and the steps for wider c...

Combining different widths of cabs

Hello all, my plan is to build two T39 or T48 (24 inch version) for my living room. In the future I would like to build a few more for outdoor applications. These should be wider (around 30 inches) for higher output. Is it possible to combine these two widths and let them play together in a stack? I...
