Re: Uses for a single SLAP
If the Yamaha isn't doing the trick, an SLA isn't going to be any better. Before you do anything, tell me this.....do you have a 15 band EQ on that monitor, or is it a digital board with available graphic or parametric EQ? If it's an analog board, you need to get an EQ in line on that monitor. If i...

Re: Uses for a single SLAP
At the range it's used at it a 2x6 will be plenty. But pray tell why he didn't have one of your Yammy monitors? He does have his own 12" Yammy. I aim it at his face from a stool beside his floor tom. He keeps asking to turn it up, or move it closer, and then it becomes a fight with ...

Re: Uses for a single SLAP
Good morning, apart from public address or a mono top to a sub for small live sound, where could a single SLAP be used? Can I use one as a monitor for a drummer? Our singing drummer is going deaf and hates headphones. We borrowed a portable tower PA for practice once and I set it right by his ear. ...

Help me choose again...
I want a cab that can be used in different ways depending on the situation: as a small PA sub (bass, kick, and keys), or as a bass monitor on a bigger stage,
or stand-alone powered by a bass head for using in another band with no PA support.
Is this possible?

Re: Cutlist?
Thank you jimbo7. That didn't work, but it gave me inspiration to try again. My unzip program apparently was corrupting something..When I switched to the Windows built-in extractor, all went well. Now the fun begins..

Cutlist?
I downloaded Cutlist but it won't run on my PC (Windows 10). I don't understand why and I am exhausted. Has anyone else gotten the newly downloaded Cutlist to work on Win 10? http://delphiforfun.org/programs/CutList.htm#Download

... and price - I've found some spare money - not much though. :hyper: https://www.amazon.com/Uplights-Lighting-Actived-Washing-Birthday/dp/B07DLRDBQZ/ I have the previous model from this seller, much like these. They have a bunch of settings and can be set to cycle through them. I got them to wash...

Re: Hello and help me choose...
Thank you both for your input. The Yamaha's are very good and have served us well indoors and outdoors. I want to order plans now, and I wanted to get two sets of plans, so I have the option to build something else right away if I get on a roll. ;) I just cannot decide what the second one should be....

Re: Hello and help me choose...
One more question I hope can be answered easily. I am set on the T39's and will likely purchase the recommended drivers. As mentioned above, we're using Yamaha club tops. They are currently worth more on the used market than when I bought them, so a sale may be in order. If so, I would build tops to...

Re: Hello and help me choose...
Thanks Bill. The T39 was the first I landed on when I started looking. When you say ideal, is there another cab that would work better, or was your wording due to the limitations of my cheap drivers?

Hello and help me choose...
Hi folks. I am in snowy PA, getting cabin fever as is usual this time of year. I have a pair of 12" drivers in small, generic cabs, that our band uses as subs when we play outdoors and bigger venues. In that situation, I use a 4x10 bass cab for bass. When indoors, I'll use the 12"ers stack...
