I wish I would’ve know about this the first time I built 4 otop12s. I made them all with the melded arrays and it took me a while to test all the piezos.

Re: FaitalPRO 12XL1200 For Tuba30
In the T30 it has about 3dB more maximum output than the 3012LF. I wouldn't call that cost effective. Only 3dB that sounds low for almost double the displacement specs but you are the one that made the plans so I trust you. I have 4 dual t30s and was eyeing these. Maybe if I build more.. thanks Bill

FaitalPRO 12XL1200 For Tuba30
Has anyone seen these drivers? All specs are within measurements on plans and they have some serious output (wattage and displacement). my question is has anyone ever done a swap of drivers? I currently have the 3012lf in my boxes and was thinking of swapping them to get more output. Also you guys t...

Tuba 30s and OT12s
Don’t really know how to say this...
Man I love this system! It literally craps on every system in my town. I feel like it competes with any funktion one or void system out there if it’s same size!

Re: 4 dual 3012lf T30s
Can you run an amp down to 2 ohms? If it's 2 ohm stable/it's specs say so, sure. Should you? Perhaps not if you can avoid it. It places maximum strain on the amp and it's power supply. And you don't want that amp failing during a show because it's stressed to it's limits. You already mentioned seri...

Re: 4 dual 3012lf T30s
I want to run them on 1 amp if possible. So I’m thinking of running them all in parallel which puts us down at 2ohm if I run 2 per channel.. any amp that can do that comfortably? First question is - what other amps are you currently running for your tops and are they going to live next to the sub a...

OTop12s Wow
Finally finished the build on some OT12s. They took longer than I expected (wanted them to look bad ass so finishing touches took a bit) but man was it worth it! Hooked the 4 of them up with my 2 - dual T30s and 2 - single T30s for a club night about 600 capacity.. everyone kept complementing the so...

Re: Tuba 30 bass sick Dual kappalite 3012LF
Ordered the PA2 should be here in time for this weekend. Any suggestions on high and low pass freqs for these? 2 - dual loaded 3012LF gonna be using them with a pair of mackie srm450. I’m new to this type of sub... I usually just have a powered qsc kw181.

Would a DBX driverack do everything I need?CoronaOperator wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 2:53 amNice build! Hope you have a high pass and limiter set as per the plans. These things stop humming if overdriven without warning. Plenty of folks here to help you set that up if need be.

For DJ use. House and Techno mainly.. it came in at 115lbs. Heavy but man does this thing hummmm. Just started the next one and should have a majority done by this weekend. I’m hoping to have it done for next week. We have an outdoor gig and want to run 2 of these bad boys. All of my buddies can’t b...
