Thank you!. Now I have an Ashly Protea 4.8, but I was going to use a plate amplifier with dsp. With shipping overseas expensive, perhaps I will buy a 4 CH class d amp with dsp (Powersoft Clone), soon I have to decide.

T60 Build, almost done
Hi!, how are you people. I have finished the build, the only remaing tasks is to load the cabinets, put the speakon connectors, some cab corners, and perhaps add a grill. When its all done, I will post some measurements, I will compare with the old BR cabs i'd made for the LAB15 (med size vented clu...

Re: T60 Build, limiter settings
Set 'em both to the correct voltage.....BUT, also put a volt meter on the outputs and check them before ever connecting a speaker. If you don't know how to do this, we can tell you how. So, RMS and Peak both to 50V (Lab12) and 60V (Lab15). Yes, I know how to meausure voltage, I will feed them with ...

T60 Build, limiter settings
Hi to all, soon the T60's will be finished :). I have a question about setting the limiters, for the LAB12 and LAB15 drivers, in the plans it says, that the voltage limit for the 12 is 50V and 15 60V. I will have a class d amplifier driving each box separately, the amp is rated 1000w 8Ohm peak, it h...

Whould it be better to stack them on a horizontal line, or 3X2 stack?

Re: T60 Build, problem with braces
Hi Bill, I have a question, with how many boxes, I will achieve the flattest response?, are the T60 tuned to 1/4 W 25Hz?
Best regards

Re: T60 Build, problem with braces
I assume you are trying to save weight. Could you cut the braces using a full piece of plywood and then plunge cut the holes out with a jigsaw? Or use a hole/cup saw and make a bunch of holes? Hi, yes I could, but I have already cutted all the pieces, and to do that I'll have to buy more plywood. I...

Re: T60 Build, problem with braces
They are braces, use another type of glue. Or make the braces without joints at all, from a sheet of ply. My concern would be, if it’s not holding the braces together, it’s probably not holding the panels to the side either. So you need to find that out... Hi, the other panels are glued ok, no prob...

Thank you, yes, the problem is there is more than 400 parts to mill, for the braces xDRich4349 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 9:49 am A very basic lap joint would look better than that, and even have a little more contact area.

Re: T60 Build, problem with braces
Here's what Gorilla Glue (popular option here in the States) looks like after curing. Gorilla Glue is an expanding polyurethane adhesive, however it is not recommended as a construction adhesive for any Bill Fitzmaurice designs that require airtight construction. https://billfitzmaurice.info/forum/...
