Mixing Different Mouth Width Tubas

Hello, I have (3) dual Lab12 30" wide T60's in progress, as well as (2) DR250's I have been wondering about building some single Lab 12 tubas with narrower mouth widths, one on each side R/L on top of dual Lab 12 T60's, as if they would be kick bins...and some DR250 stacked on top of those as well. ...

Re: QSC PLD recommended?

My (3)dual Lab12 T60's are not built yet, nor are my DR250's...ordering flat packs was easy, then came work, then winter. I do own a QSC PLD 4.3, and after a firmware update, its pretty nice IMO. I like the features, computer control instead of front panel button mashing, etc. Someone rented my PLD ...

Re: On Board Amp

Love that DSP!

I wonder if they are using eGaN FET or MOS FET?

I expect someone to dip their toes in the water and report back :)

Re: Anyone doing FPGA DSP?

Thanks for the links! I'll order some stuff and put some efforts into DSP/FIR and let folks know how things go. Just one of about 20 projects I have going on right now. I do have Matlab, but mostly for RF stuff, I should cough up some money for audio. My intent is to make something useful for people...

Re: Lost in Omaha

My 2 cents: 1. I looove quartz tube electric heaters, throws great infrared depending on application and heater itself of course. While not warming the air much, they warm surfaces. May want to consider small and quiet overhead infrared heater/s 2. Although I'm not an expert on audio, I've assisted ...

Re: Lost in Omaha

Hello!
I'm also from Omaha.

Curious if you have an update with your project.

I'm working on PA with DR280's and Tuba 60's(single 15"ers), should have it running outdoors at O Leaver's once per month by mid summer if not before.

Re: Honestly

Throwing in my 2 cents here....

I love the PLD series amps also.
I have a PLD 4.3 that I plan on running (4) DR280's with.

I'm still evaluating what to run the Tuba 60's with at the moment.

@stubbs, if you see any extra QSC gear on your radar, lemme know!

Anyone doing FPGA DSP?

I'm curious to know if anyone is doing DSP on FPGA, especially open source. I don't want to pay much money for licensing IP blocks...I'm cheap! My primary objective is to be able to EQ/Filter/increase latency on a single channel, and scale larger perhaps shared clock if relevant to audio. Additional...

Hello from Omaha and Denver!

Hello, I'm Charles from both Omaha and Denver. Looking to expand my knowledge, get a nice system up and running, and eventually, I'd like to design my own TL/FH with FPGA based DSP/XO, and my own amplifier. Probably getting (2) DR250, or 280 + dual lab12 Tuba 60...then another pair of DR's and start...
