Re: Omni 12 2-10?...yup.

Whoa, thanks Bill. Just thought since they seem to be well regarded in for use in the Titans, the same could apply here.

So I know part of the equation of a good driver for a sub is the higher Vd, does this only apply to subs with longer horns? What are the other parameters involved?

Re: Omni 12 2-10?...yup.

I'm following this thread with great interest. While being conscious that the HL10C is discontinued, how would it perform in this box?

Thanks.

Re: Omni 15 and Omni Sub

The O15Sub would probably not work well as a stand-alone unit for bass guitar. WB's measurement shows that the O15Sub falls like a stone after 800hz. I'd suggest that you start by building your O10.5, then build an O15TBsub to supplement it, if you need it. With your limited woodworking skills, bot...

Re: Omni 15 and Omni Sub

I think there is a spot for the Omni 'subs', but it is limited. As a stand alone unit or a pair they make sense. As part of a modular system the concept falls apart. If the user wishes to have a system that will be usable in any venue by adding more cabs, the Tuba or Titan are still the best choice...

Re: break in CD

How long do you generally loop the 31.5Hz track until the the speakers are properly broken in, 8 hours, 24 hours? Thanks.

Re: Omni 10 Airhead

I built an Omni 10 with the airhead option to mount an amp head and use as a bass combo. I needed something to bridge the gap between a small home practice amp and a T39+O10.5 stack. This seemed like just the ticket. Small enough to be reasonably portable, but still able to keep up with a rock drum...

Retractable handles?

Hey guys, I'd love to put these handles on the cabs I'll build next year. http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Bass_Cabs/ScoutCABS/QkDetachSystem.htm It's kinda like those retractable handles you get on small luggage bag. Anyone know the manufacturer of these things or something similar? Thanks gu...

Just a curious question that I thought I'd ask, following up on the topic started. I'm a firm believer that there are no stupid question to be asked, and the worst that can happen when a question is asked is to have "no" as the answer. I do welcome all feedback, and I'd rather ask and know...

Yea, people around the world, if you come to Oz thinking you'll find cheap stuff.. Think again..

No really, I would agree that ordering them from the States (incl shipping) would be cheaper..
