Have a gig coming up where the client (a charity event) wants to provide two (donated) eu7000 generators in place of the specified 25k diesel. They won't have the linking kit. I typically need 3 20A circuits to guarantee things work at the level I want them to, one circuit being for stage power.
I can comfortably run my rig off of one of the generators. Have any of you had any experience with a setup like this? Stage power is relatively independent, but DI'd basses, etc, could be a problem from my perspective. Is there a way to do this safely?
TIA.

99% of the time, things that aren't already being done aren't being done because they don't work. The other 1% is split evenly between fools and geniuses.

Re: Honda Generators
Even without the linking kit, I believe they can share a ground rod safely. Other than that, I don't foresee any issues.
