I did not see anything on what to use for this under the " Everything Else" section so here goes.
I recently read a post on tightening down the cones after a year or so and yup the T39's need tightening down. Question is, and my CD of the plans are who knows where since I moved, will typical foam window sealing tape work? I have some " closed cell PVC foam air sealing tape ".
Also, would 100% silicone caulk work or will the fumes cause problems with some of the components of the speaker as I heard it can do?
Hot melt?
Thanks

Closed cell foam is the way to go biodad.
Silicone. No. Yes the fumes are an issue.
Hot melt. No.
Apart from that, silicone or hot melt make it rather difficult to remove the access panel next time you want to check the drivers...

Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...
