The plans suggest "as small as 28 gauge wire". What gauges do you find best to work with?
What about using two different colors of bare colored artistic wire for wiring? I'd terminate the array in a Molex connector for easy hookup. You can find this stuff on eBay, Michael's and Hobby Lobby using the phrase "artistic wire".
Thanxabunch!
Wiring Melded Piezo Tweeter Array
Re: Wiring Melded Piezo Tweeter Array
Have you looked at the sketchup file yet? There is a lot of wiring going on with an array. If one of the bare wires touches another, you're gonna have a bad day. Some guys can make really cleanly wired arrays, but I wouldn't risk it. Use normal coated wire.

You can use molex if you want, but simple spade connectors from Home Depot in the electrical department are easier and cheaper.

I checked the Sketchup file and understood much more now. Normal wire will be the ticket.jimbo7 wrote:Have you looked at the sketchup file yet? There is a lot of wiring going on with an array.
