Is there a good glue to attach cab badges?
I recently received my order of BFM cab badges and have tried contact adhesive to glue them on. I have read folks using screws to attach them but don't want to do that, I want a glue that will work to glue them onto the cab and stick well to the duratex coated cabs. Commercial speaker builders use something to do this, but don't know what kind of glue it is...suggestions? and thanks!!

Go to an autoparts store and get 3M double sided trim tape. It's made to hold trim and emblems on cars.

Re: Is there a good glue to attach cab badges?
Thanks for the helpful suggestions guys. After some experimentation with the contact (rubber) adhesive I have found a technique that works well.
(1. holding the badge face down between two fingers, apply a thin coat of contact adhesive. I used a Q-tip.
(2. Allow to dry completely, approximately 15 minutes.
(3. after the primer coat of contact adhesive has completely dried, spread a more generous layer of contact adhesive onto the back of the badge, but not so much as to have much squeeze out.
(4. Right after applying this second coat of contact adhesive, place the badge where you want it. Since the second coat is not allowed to dry and tack up, you will be able to adjust it's position.
(5. Allow to dry for at least an hour.
I like this remedy better than the double sided auto trim tape because it makes the badge tighter to the cab surface without the thickness of the tape.
