Battery Backup

#1 Post by djtrumptight »

I bought one of these,my idea is to connect my Behringer DCX2496 to it just in case i run into a power outtage or someone im doing a rental for lets their generator run out of gas my limiter will still be functioning and possibly keep that spike or that pop from reaching my amp.Thoughts ?

You always want to turn you amps off before the processor/source signal to avoid pops. That UPS on the driverack will make sure the amps go off first even if someone pulls the plug or you pop a breaker. Its a good idea.

For best results, point the loud end of the array towards the audience

You'd need it on the driverack and the mixer. While the driverack will definitely pop, the board can too.
