How much volt i wtl llimit for 2 parralel lab12 in t39 and..

#1 Post by philrev »

A single lab12 is limited to 59v for t39
2 paralell lab 12 in one channel how much voltage i set for my limiter.

A single deltalite 2512 is limited to ? voltage in dr280
2 parallell dr280 on one channel with deltalite how much voltage limit?

2 compression cd AS1001wired per plan on my dr280,,,how much voltage i will set to limit.

thanks

Voltage is voltage. Whether a single or double - if wired parallel, then you set the voltage the same. That only changes if you wire series.

Set the max voltage at half the rated power of the 2512s on the DRs. The CDs don't matter if you are using the crossover in the plans.

4 - OT12 2512
1 - T24
1 - SLA Pro
2 - XF210

A single lab12 is limited to 59v for t39
Is this a typo? Lab 12 in a T39 is limited to 50V, not 59V.

IIRC, the voltage limit for 2512's is 40V
Having said that, you should be aware that if you approach 40V with a 2512 driver, the cab may well sound distorted.
If you're pushing your DR280's that hard, you may also need to consider another pair...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

sorry it was a typo.

On another hand how much voltage should i set on my limiter on asd1001on series configuration.

Again, philrev, you will hear the DR280s distort. But, if you must, 20V per driver, so 40V with 2 wired in series.

Sorry for my math!
ASD 1001 is 50w 8 ohms connected in series with another ASD1001 on DR cab1. DR cab2 has same config as DR cab1.
DR cab1 & DR cab2 are connected in parallel to my amplifier Channel B. On this setup how much maximum volt i would allow on my limiter.
Thanks
