Glad to hear that I am in fact normal!
Here are pictures of one cab with sheaths. I have installed sheaths on all 8 already, but no pictures yet.

And for the jig in the center to hold the plywood while bending, I made a double jig. Basically, it is a piece of wood that is exactly wide enough to push in both sheaths at the same time, allowing me to omit the trillion clamps or ugly holes in the wood.

Quick question. Can i use a polyurethane sealant to seal air leaks and such? Because we can't get PL over here, so i am using another PU glue calles SikaBond. I found a recommendation of that glue here on this site, but it is unfortunately quite runny, so sealing with it is really tough.

Okay i ran into serious issues! the driver ( delta pro-12A) cannot be installed after the back plate attachment braces have been installed! The driver simply does not go through the opening, it is too big... I could make the braces smaller, but that does't leave enough room for the attachment screws

If you mean the back flanges you should be able to cut half-moon shaped relieves into them that will allow the driver to fit which still allows back fasteners to be close enough together. They need not be spaced less than five inches/125mm apart.

Look at the middle cabinet of your Sketchup.

Hello
I use structan glue in my builds, don't know if you can get that over there though. http://www.rectavit.be/nl/prd/158/structan.aspx
building BFM speakers isn't a hobby , it's an addiction

1 x THT
1 x autotuba
2 x dr250 melded

2 x wedgehorn 10
2 x tlah

I apologize for not being able to update this build thread! I suddenly felt the pressure of the build, and had no time to spare in front of the computer. All the speakers have been completed now, and I must say I am pretty proud of the results. The 4 titan48 speakers were done from start to finish in 21 hours in one go. Here are pictures from the build sessions!

Well done hooking in and getting the rig finished.
21 hours straight for the T48's! Sheesh.

Is the reason you have the T48's setup like they are simply so you can stack the J arrays on top?
If so, perhaps it would be great to build some platforms to put the J arrays on, so you can cluster the T48's.

Sorry, can't help but looking at the setup pic in the middle of the buildings, and thinking you're cruelling your LF output though.

That (inadequate) amount of separation probably means you're causing frequency cancellations in sub output up to about 45Hz.
I figure you went for T48's to get down to 30Hz, so I don't understand why you would want to set up in a fashion that cruels that ability...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

Are those 4512's loaded with 15's in the picture with the J arrays on top? It's been a long time since I last used those :D

I understand that this is nowhere near an optimal setup. The picture with the 3 4512s stacked was purely to get the array high enough for a proper test. I will make a platform soon, but still trying to think of a good design! Any ideas?

Indeed they are! Found 8 of them with original drivers, 2 not working though. The cabinets were in horrible shape, so i made a full restoration. I like them for indoor use for small gigs. Outside they are kind of useless!

I was referring to the rig where you can see your unpainted T48's stacked, presumably a DJ rig in between. That's ok though, you understand what I'm saying.

Other forum members have come up with some good solutions.
Forum member "pulseman" came up with:
http://billfitzmaurice.info/forum/viewt ... ca#p248733

Look about half way down the page. These stands were self made, and fold up to take very little space IIRC.
I would suggest to PM pulseman, but I haven't seen him around the forum for ages.

Another option is a scaffold type arrangement.
I know you don't have Harbour freight, so it's just an example:
http://www.harborfreight.com/heavy-duty ... 69055.html

Again, these break up to make packing easier.

While it seems like a waste of time and energy, even taking 3 x 4512's a side to gigs simply to stack the J array on (but turned backwards so they look like boxes) would allow you to cluster the T48's until you come up with something...
