How small and low can it be built Bill?
Bill
I was wondering how small a horn sub can be built for near field use... PC use come to or something to tuck away in a small room like a bathroom for a 2.1 system. Have you played with any designs or considered making plans for small mini wonder bass machine I may be the only one who is hoping for such a design but maybe there is some interest with the other members of the forum.
Thank you advance for your time.

T18. Anything smaller and you're better off with a direct radiator.
Re: How small and low can it be built Bill?
Thank you for the quick reply. After looking at the T18 it is a bit to big for what looking for. I was hoping for something that could use a 4-5 driver and push out some modest bass, something for near field use or a small room. Seems like most of the small 2.1 systems I have heard sound muddy unless you drop some coin for an expensive setup. Oh well I figured it would not hurt to ask.

It doesn't matter what size the driver is, for a horn to work it has a minimum path length and mouth area. It cannot be made small and still go low.yepvegas wrote: I was hoping for something that could use a 4-5 driver and push out some modest bass.

Understood... I guess I should have more clear about "low" I was just curious to the idea of a really compact folded horn. Thank you kindly for your time.

TapTalk is an android app and apple app that allows you to interface with multiple forums. Everything is optimised for viewing on mobile devices. One you log in it stays logged in you can set up favorites so any thread that your are subscribed to you can follow. On mine just some of the ones I follow are Parts Express Tech Talk,AVS Forums,Club SX4,DIYAudio,DIYMA,Android Central and a few others related to my field of work. In some respects it is easier and faster to use a Taptalk then the PC. You can find it at the GooglePlay Store and what what ever they use for apple apps.

That is true many of the Forums have there own version of a mobile app and many if not most are free but Taptalk lets you have one app shortcut on you phone so you can access many forums with one app. Its couple of bucks for the app but it is one of the few apps i felt that it worth paying for.Bas Gooiker wrote:Some kind of forum reading app.
