Maximum voltage for SLA Pro??

EQ guys are using on their cabs/systems. A good starting place if you don't have your own RTA.

Maximum voltage for SLA Pro??

#1 Post by Ian Westwood »

As per the subject, anyone know the maximum safe operating voltage for SLA Pros? I can't seem to find the info in the instructions.

That's because they'll distort horribly if you exceed xmax.

Ah, OK. Copy that.

People keep asking me "how many watts are they"? I'm guessing 300 or so when high passed at 115Hz?

That's a good octave above the driver low frequency limit, so figure twice the total driver rating. But if you do limit keep it at the driver rating anyway, for maximum protection, and you certainly don't need that last 3dB.
